چکیده
Djoeke van Netten examines the interplay between privacy and secrecy in ships of Dutch East India Companies (1595-1799). Space aboard a ship was scarce rare privilege. starts with discussion sources available as well those lost to history. She then continues by examining what can be known about protection access (secret) information (private) belongings ships. Cases where violated secrets revealed emerge some most informative historical events examined this context. As she confronts her examples relevant theoretical historiographical concepts, concludes raising important questions for further research on

Alarm indicators are a very simple and important user interface for many control tasks, and are known to be problematic. Alarms on ships have increased in number and importance. Recent incidents such as Savannah Express, Aquitaine and others have identified a number of important issues in the way that alarm systems support safe and effective work. The state of alarm systems onboard is inconsist...
متن کاملErgonomical valorization of working spaces in multipurpose ships.
In this work it is shown how anthropological data are among the most needed factors in ergonomical valorization of crew working spaces. Ship's working or living environment involves many unique human factors, which should be specially considered in our case as limitation of crew space. In this work we have chosen ships of different years of construction to prove this tendency. As a micro study,...

متن کاملShips Classification Basing On Acoustic Signatures
The paper presents the technique of artificial neural networks used as classifier of hydroacoustic signatures generated by moving ship. The main task of proposed solution is to classify the objects which made the underwater noises. Firstly, the measurements were carried out dynamically by running ship past stationary hydrophones, mounted on tripods 1 m above the sea bottom. Secondly to identify...
